Commander Durin Valderas is the firstborn son of Steelborne Wolves officers Commander Salina Stonehelm, daughter of General Thrain Stonehelm, and Commander Jakhar Valderas. He is also the older brother of Commander Jakara Valderas. Born into a family with a distinguished military legacy, Durin was raised to understand the responsibilities, sacrifices, and dangers that come with serving in the Steelborne Wolves Special Forces Unit.

Following Pantheon’s downfall in 2009, Jakhar ensured that his son received extensive military training, preparing him for the possibility that he would one day fight alongside his parents in an actual war. That preparation became essential during the devastating Necrothorn virus outbreak, when Durin joined his parents’ Coalition team to combat Jeremiah Mercer and his loyal officers and fighters within the North Carolina Liberation Front.

Following the end of the outbreak, Durin continued his military training and gained further combat experience during the conflict against General Valderas and his cartel in Jalisco, Mexico, where he helped rescue his grandmother and Astra.

Now fighting alongside his parents, his best friend Captain Lucas Torres, his younger sister Jakara, his aunt Kiana, and the Steelborne Wolves, Durin remains dedicated to protecting the United States and the free world from dangerous terrorist organizations, including the Helios Reclamation Front (HRF) and Leviathan. As a member of the next generation of Steelborne Wolves soldiers, Durin continues to honor his family’s legacy through his courage, determination, and commitment to defending those who cannot defend themselves.
